Saving documents

The first step towards the recovery and restoration of your documents is, if necessary, saving in proper form. While being saved, health-related as well as logistical and personnel-related aspects have to be adjusted to the local conditions and taken into account.

• Health-related aspects

Prior to clearing out a contaminated and mold loaded archive, all employees have to undergo preventive medical checkups pursuant to G23 and G24 (skin disease and respiratory disorder); a medical certificate has to be submitted.

• Personal protective equipment

The following protective measures have to be taken for every employee involved in the saving of documents: skin and hand protection as well as respiratory and personal protection.
