Internal mailroom requirements have changed rapidly within the last few years: in the past it often was sufficient to distribute letters as well as parcel and courier deliveries, and the material and personnel costs were simply passed on to various departments. This is just what Rhenus provides with its inside-model: We handle the mailroom in the company of the customer, making it the center for an integrated document management so it will become a hub in the internal workflow. In many cases the outsourcing of the internal mailroom cannot be considered solely from a commercial point of view; for example, when employees are characterized by a very long seniority. Between inside and outside
To provide every customer with the service package tailored to particular needs, we also implement so-called inside-outside solutions. This means, a downsized mailroom remains in the company while we process the outgoing mail and, if required, render other performances externally in our own facilities.
