Ideal use of existing areas

The set-up of an archive and a filing department at the customer’s premises is especially advisable when the client wants to take advantage of outsourcing and the storage areas cannot be used or booked for other purposes at short notice.

 

Rhenus provides the IT-infrastructure and creates the storage topology in its own IT-system. We will file the records and conduct the archive with our own staff while it is possible for the customer’s employees to search and order the documents via our online platform.

 

This brings about considerable advantages since you do not pay any additional rent but merely a fee for running the IT-infrastructure. The availability of ordered records is settled on the basis of the price per unit. From the very first day our customers will benefit from the standardized processes and from the unified infrastructure.

 

If the in-house storage area can be used alternatively, Rhenus may relocate the archival records to one of the external safety storages within a short period of time. This will not affect the user, as the agreed service levels remain the same in each phase of the relocation.
